Equestrians With Disabilities

As part of its regular slate of class offerings, the NSBA offers a variety of approved classes that riders with disabilities may participate in. The classes offered include showmanship, horsemanship, equitation, trail, western pleasure and hunter under saddle. Additionally, show managers may decide to offer NSBA classes for Equestrians With Disabilities who can ride independently, as well as those who need support. As with all other NSBA classes, participants must be NSBA members to compete, and they are also eligible to earn year end awards on a national level.

In addition to local NSBA approved events, riders may attend and compete with riders from across the country at the NSBA World Championship Show held each August in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as well as at the All American Quarter Horse Congress in Columbus, Ohio.

Many companies have matching donation programs. Check to see if your Employer is on the list.
