Amber Hanson Pickard, NSBA Quarter Million Dollar Club

National Snaffle Bit Association is pleased to announce that Amber Hanson Pickard, of Brenham, Texas has become its newest member to reach $250,000 in lifetime NSBA earnings. Amber reached the milestone at the NSBA World Championship Show and Breeders Championship Futurity in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in August.

A native of Fremont, Michigan, Amber spent her youth showing 4-H and Open shows, but her family’s annual trip to the Quarter Horse Congress lit a passion to become part of the Quarter Horse industry. She worked for Joe Goodenow and Heather Pelon at Lightning Bar Equine Services where she learned to break, finish and prepare sale horses before starting her own training business. She met Dwayne Pickard in 2010, the two merged their training businesses in 2011 and married in 2014. They focus on breeding and training world-quality Hunter Under Saddle horses.

Amber has trained and shown such horses as Hot N Addictive, Born Hot Feelin Good, Hot N Addictive, Maid For Money, Al Be Addictive, Imm Lovin It, Al Night Long, Enticed, Bout Time Baby, Boys Move Over, Rock Star Status, Big Game Changer, Jus The Best, The Irons Hot, Smoke N The Best, Jus Be Good, Give Me The Moves, Im Al About The Best, My Best Addiction, Makin All The Rules, Good Two Be Addictive, Hot N Addicted, En The Kruzin Lane, Marilynd and Better Invy The Best.

Carly will be recognized during the NSBA Honors Banquet during the 2027 NSBA World Championship Show and Breeders Championship Futurity in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
