Steve Meadows Joins NSBA's Quarter Million Dollar Club
National Snaffle Bit Association is pleased to welcome training professional Steve Meadows as a member of the Quarter Million Dollar Club. Steve reached the milestone of winning more than $250,000 in lifetime NSBA earnings at the 2025 APHA World Championship Show..
Steve, of Staunton, Virginia, is a fourth-generation horseman who has won numerous NSBA and AQHA world championships, Quarter Horse Congress, PHBA and American Ranch Horse Association world titles.
Professional Career
Steve began his career in the Western Pleasure industry and had always had a passion for authentic cowboy culture. He earned approximately $65,000 in Western Pleasure and Longe Line earnings. When Ranch Riding classes began, Steve quickly embraced the new discipline and saw success in it.
Among the horses he has trained and shown successfully include In Zippos Image, Radical Yet Fancy, Invite Moonlight, Impulse To Sparkle, Seekin A Breeze, Sheiks Miss Jazmitaz, Hot N Trouble, and transitioned to Ranch horses such as Wimpys Major Affair, Shiners Surprise, McSwagger, Seismic Reaction, HP Docs Flamin Hot, Jackieslittlediamond, Fancy Blue Roo, Hava Coctail On Me, Little Jersey Chic, Mr Great Red, The Half Time Show, Shine Mega Shine, Chics Dig Jersey Nic, Wimpys Color Code, Only Chrome Guns, Old School Bluez, Seven S Crossfire, Cookies And Dream and Face Offf.
Steve was named the 2018 AQHA Most Valuable Professional and is an AQHA national director who has served on numerous AQHA committees and the AQHA Professional Horseman’s Council. He is also a past president of the Virginia Quarter Horse Association. Steve has been an NSBA and AQHA judge since 2004. He and his wife, Becky, and daughter, Noel, train together at their Virginia facility specializing in Ranch Riding, Reining and Working Cow Horse events.
Steve will be recognized during the NSBA Honors Banquet during the 2026 NSBA World Championship Show and Breeders Championship Futurity in Tulsa, Oklahoma in August.
