Breeders Championship Futurity

2018 marks the thirteenth annual NSBA World Championship Show. NSBA will offer all-breed classes over seven days and pay out in excess of $1,000,000 in cash prizes!

In addition to the World Show classes, the NSBA Breeders Championship Futurity and Stakes classes are also offered. A trade show comprised of commercial exhibitory and pleasure horse professionals will be available to assist spectators during this week.

Qualifying is done through participation in each class at Dual Approved or Special Events. Horses in Open classes and horses and riders in Youth and Amateur classes are required to participate in the corresponding dual approved class a minimum of five times within the qualifying period of May 1, 2017 through April 30, 2018. Those who do not qualify may enter with an additional $150 qualification fee per class.

New for 2018 - Youth Team Tournament

The National Snaffle Bit Association will offer a Youth Team Tournament open to all youth entered in NSBA World Championship Show Youth classes. The tournament will include all youth classes but will not include Futurity and Maturity classes.

  •  Entries are taken in the office until 4:00 pm on Saturday August 11th.
  • There is no additional entry fee for youth to participate.
  • On Saturday August 11th at approximately 6:00 pm a Draw Party will be held. Kids will draw which team they ride for at that time.
  • Exhibitors enter on a one rider/one horse basis.
  • Teams of four or five will be drawn depending on the number of entrants. 

Once teams are drawn, each youth will choose the class or classes, up to two, to designate as their Youth Team Class or Classes. 

Results will be tabulated, updated and posted throughout each day Sunday August 12 – Tuesday August 14th when the winning teams will be announced. Team awards will be given for first, second and third place teams.
